Laura’s journey began as an emcee and performer before expanding into wedding and event management, where she developed a deep understanding of planning, coordination, and creating meaningful guest experiences.
With over 15 years of industry experience, she founded Weddings by Laura, which later grew into BY LAURA GROUP, bringing together weddings, events, and entertainment under one trusted brand dedicated to professionalism, creativity, and seamless execution.

WEDDING MANAGER
Oversees the entire event, ensuring smooth execution and the couple’s satisfaction
- Point of contact
- Liaises with vendors
- Coordinates rehearsal
- Assists with photoshoots
- Oversees event setup & teardown
- Manages invoices & payments
- Supervises event flow
- Coordinates post-event dismantle
BRIDE ASSISTANT
Dedicated support for the bride throughout the event
- Manages the couple’s appearance and attire adjustments
- Coordinates with the team and cues important moments
- Assists with bridal attire and outfit changes
- Safekeeps the couple’s personal belongings
AV COORDINATOR
Coordinates audio-visual, lighting and performances to deliver a smooth event
- Ensures sound systems, microphones, projectors, lights, and video equipment work properly
- Controls background music, video presentations, and music cues for ceremonies
- Handle sound feedback, projection delays, or equipment issues on-site
- Works with the Program Coordinator to ensure all AV elements match the planned flow
PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Designing and directing every moment with precision and atmosphere
- Designs and coordinates lighting for key moments such as pre-dinner, photoshoot, march-in and first look
- Curates and manages wedding music for each segment, ensuring seamless flow, strong atmosphere and precise cue timing
- Oversees all program cues including music, lighting transitions and key entrances to ensure perfect timing
- Conducts full rehearsal to align lighting, music and program flow before the wedding day
- Guides the couple and families through important moments, ensuring confidence, clarity and smooth execution throughout
BANQUET MANAGER
Manages food & beverage service, ensuring seamless guest dining experiences
- Verifies table setup and arrangement
- Manages guest dining preferences and special requests
- Confirms menu details
- Coordinates food service timing for a smooth dining experience
- Coordinates F&B logistics and delivery schedules
- Monitors alcohol service
